I finally got some money and I am going to do some mods to my car(finally). I am going to get an Iceman intake but I don't know what kind of exhaust I should get. Who makes a good exhaust that is fairly inexpensive? Or should I just try and find a GS-T muffler? Thanks

You could never go wrong with Greddy, but after hearing the Tanabe...I melted!!! It's like a stock exhaust when your just cruzing...but when you step on it, it gets loud and it's DEEP. VERY DEEP, it sounds VERY CLEAN!!! It's my choice. I've also heard the 5Zigen (sp??), it almost sounds the same, except a littl bit louder.

I REALLY WANT THE Tanabe Racing Medalion or the 5 Zigen Fireball Exhaust!!!!!!! Even though the Fireball is a bit louder, I still like it.

I have been thinking about getting the Tanabe Racing Medalion cat-back but isn't the piping to big for my NA car? Would I lose a lot of power? It does sound bad ass and I really want one!

i have the tanabe g-power exhaust,, it sounds very good, and it actually fits the car,, meaning its not a giant tip,, it looks right!! i also use 2 have an apexi N1 on it b4,, it was a canister style muffler that angled down,, it sounded good but it hangs low,, my car being slammed,, that got to be a problem,,i felt more power with the apexi, but i like the looks of the tmabe a lil bit better

I, too, have the Greddy EVO and I really like it--deep rumble, but not too loud! I highly recommend any Greddy; I used to have the Greddy SP also.

the apex i n1 is very good .. but as stated before it is low .. but i am not ! im not lowered so it doesnt really matter .. but the power look and sound are all worth it .. the construction is awesome also !! it is very sound and bolts right on no cutting or annoying things of that nature. if i do go lower i would have to have a custom pipe made so that i can accomadate the height difference . for $125 that isnt to shabby!! all and all silencer out the exaust screams at high rpms ( i set off car alarms ) and growls at low rpms. with the silencer in u notice a boost in low end speed but it dies out where as if it is out u lose back pressure but gain hella in the high rpms range.

whats that commercial say ? buy it for looks buy it for life ? apexi's are forever ...lol

my brother recomends me getting a flow master.... but i don't know about that. i want to go straight pipe with a tanable at the end, but i don't know about that either. what ever i end up with i don't want it to sound like a honda. i'm thinking serously about taking out the cat, resonator and muffler and putting on the flow master and a bro speed tip. i also plan on going turbo or swaping to the cyclone soon. so i don't think that the back pressure will be that important to me.
