Well, I thought I had to replace my clutch at 74k miles because my tranny was acting all weird (i would be able to put the car into gear w/out putting on the clutch-usually into 1st gear when braking-Also getting into gears especially reverse, was really hard, it still is too!) But I replaced with a DF I got from RRE for I beleive 375.00 and had it installed for 3250-the dealer qouted me 900 for a new stock install! Go to a tranny specialist place.

At first it was really really easy to put the clutch in. Now it just feels the same as stock...ive been so used to it, I cant even remember what the stock one was like...but overall, I like it.

As far as chirpping goes...since i got my new suspension setup, ive been chirpin really hard. I barely rarely ever take off without chirping... I burnt out really good last night, i must have chirped for a good 25 feet, it was so cool, it was like the torque was pushing me ahead, but my tires were keeping me back. It was the tightest thing ive done with my car.

I was going to post the same thing so I guess I'll just jump in on this one. I called Jegs and they qouted me 265 for it about 5 months ago. I'm not sure about the one for our cars but I have a friend with a Bennett built block in his 88 Mustang that dyno'd at a shade over 1000 HP and he runs a Centerforce and from what I have experienced with that I like it. They have been in the business for a very longtime and make a good quality product so I don't see why the one for our cars would be any different. I plan on ordering mine very soon.

Well after 85K and a stock clutch replacement..my car's due in for a clutch real bad. Even tho I don't launch, race or do any crazy stuff the clutch still went bad...and this is with a turbo, go figure. Everytime I'd engage the clutch the rpms would quickly drop a bout a 1000 then when I 'd release it it'd do the same thing...wierd. But I'm looking into a Clutchmasters Stage I for my upgrade. I thought about Centerforce DF, but heard some reliability issues with em. I've heard good stuff bout CM, even tho a bit pricey I NEED reliability. PowerHouse over here's charging me bout $575..but I think I could get it a lil lower. Stock clutch replace at dealer: $750!! But anyways..Kory..I'm gonna be up in the bay (w/o my car) I'm moving my family down to 29 Palms. Ahite
