I just replaced the PCV valve cause it was leaking by the valve cover side (not the intake manifold side). Well, a week later, it still leaks. Not quite sure what it is leaking cause it doesn't really smell like oil. Anyone have info for a n00b? TIA

welp, mines was leaking, i took it off, and blew through it both ways... one way there wasnt any restriction, and the other there was a lot of restriction, enough to figure that it was supposed to be sealed, but wasnt...(a lil leakin)
so i went to the "zone" and bought a new valve, and it leaked the same way, w/restriction, and then no restriction the other way, but a lil leak...

i replaced it, and havent had any problems since...

check the hoses, those could be clogged or cracked. if they are clogged, it may not allow the valve to open and close properly. and would cause oil to leak.

yeah make sure and check the hoses. i just had to repalace my hose cause it cracked on the valve cover side. it was on the botton of the hose so i couldn't see it without removing it. it was leaking oil all over my valve cover.

the hose is perfect. nice and firm, no soft spots.

the leak seems to come and go. it's okay right now.

????
