Guys I just got my New Autometer Cobalt EGT gauge. It's an electric one. But among the 4G63 guys they hate the Autometer probe and always suggest the TRE probe. It's inexpensive and is suppose to be a better upgrade. Those with Elec. EGT's are the supplied probes good for you? Because if they work fine no use spending another $50 I shouldn't. TIA

weasle745: and then to top it off, im not even an attractive guy. I look like Millhouse from the Simpsons, cant put on weight if my life depended on it, etc

i have the regular eletric probe that came with the autometer lunar a/f gauge, it works great for me. i haven't had any problems with it (yet), but the 4g63 guys are usually ontop of stuff. i wouldn't change your probe unless you're sure that you are getting inaccurate readings, someone convinces you otherwise, you don't like autometer probes, if you want to spend more money, or if it dies one day or something. anyways, i'm done now.

i don;t see a problem with the autometer probe.

On a side note: does your probe make a swooshy sound when you play with the ground source (not for the lights)...and my gauge needle does not rest at zero. weird huh...

Haha us North Dakotans need a gauge that reads from -60 degrees to 1600 degrees emoji

I drive to school this morning and my hair froze while inside my car. Room temp my ass.
