This is just a heads up incase anyone cares. Well last night my 02 sensor completely died. I bought a new one today but before I did I took my old one out. It was COVERED w/ carbon so I clean it with brake cleaner and cutips. I got all the carbon off and put it back in just to try and give it enough life to make it to carquest. Well on the way there it ran like normal. The voltages cycled real fast just like when it was new. (it's been real slow lately) So if you think your Bosch 02 is dead try cleaning it. Those little slips get clogged easy. Maybe that's why the stock is better. It has holes not slits as far as I remember.

I will try that the next time my O2 sensor gives out. I just put on the Bosch sensor and it was kind of a pain to figure out which wires went were. Since the wires were not the same colors I had to do some trial and error before I found the right combination.

IIRC, the bosch O2 (universal) that i have had holes exactly like the stock O2 sensor it replaced. I've had mine for around a year, and it's been perfectly fine since day one (except when the witing gets wet, it'll lose signal for a split second, but comes back before i can even tell i lost it)

I don't know where you guys get your parts, but I found out something interesting at autozone. When you ask for a o2 sensor for an eclipse, it comes up with two choices.... an universal one and some expensive one (180 bucks or something) Try asking for an o2 sensor from a eagle talon... I am not sure about how it was designed and all but it comes with the plug like a stock one, so there is no wire splicing involved. I think its like ten bucks more... but that is well worth it to me. I asked the guy why they would be different and he had no clue. Just a heads up
