Hey all I know I have not been on for a long time but I am back. I need to get my timing belt done and I have CEL flashing for it. Would a skipped tooth or a bad cam sensor cause my car not to pass smog? Thanks
PS Eclipse 56 I saw you on TV today.

Depends, where do you live? What type of tests do you have?

Some depending on what the CEL is you will fail or not. Some just test the emissions at the tailpipe. Some have visual inspections too (CA). All depends on your standards as to weather you will pass or not.
