Just to let everybody know I am quite certain that I can beat a 15.5 after tonight. Carolina DSM had another meet and I got to race my friend Cordell again. Well Ive raced Cordell in the past and we were neck and neck, no one pulling on anyone. Well since then I have added the jeep TB and he has put the AFX UDP on his car. Well we raced on the highway in third gear. We were basically even until I got to the top of third when I started walking him. That proves the performance gain. With the UDP my times went from a 16.1 to a 15.9 and it gave a gain throughout the entire powerband. That is a difference of 3/10ths and if that is the case, I should atleast be running 15.4's with the 17's up front in my current condition, hell on top of that I have a shitload of stuff in my trunk so I should run even better than that, and the fact that I kept pulling I should run even better than that! This is great, I cant wait to go to the track on friday.

yeah, im excited as hell about going to the track on friday. I was playing around today since it was like 50 degrees out side and I could stomp the throttle in first and immediately let off, which would usually make the car "jump" well when I did it now it would chirp the tires. When I would get on it and stay in it in first it started spinning the tires a little. The air will only get colder by friday

Alright I'm an idiot Quick rundown on a throttle body - Would, say, getting a bigger throttle body (60mm) give you better a. throttle response b. better top end c. better acceleration d. combination of everything e. something else (please explain )

I would have to go with D...all of the above. Its a great mod like I said before, im suprised more people arent interested in this mod. Well I have a lot of interest and only a few shelling out the money.

well we tried to redo it to see if there was a way to make the jeep tb work with the nuespeed bar, but there is just no way. The performance increase outways the lost in rigidness. To be completely honest though, I couldnt tell a difference with the nuespeed bar off the car than with it on, but that could be because I have a traditional fu bar as well.

How much higher is it then the oem TB? I have a bar that goes over the TB like the neuspeed but have everything torn apart so I am not sure of what kind of clearence I have. I will be getting ahold of you as soon as I get a job for the price it is hard to beat. Also are you going to add the option of boring it out more? I know it would only benifit those with more then just daily driving in mind...........

1TuffRS....I commend you on your work on the 60MM Jeep TB...(I even pushed your thread on the DSMTUNERS forum, SN is "Artmonkey" there...) I think alot of people already got their TBs bored to 55-57 so that might be the reason for lack of interest. I just got my 57 on and then 3 weeks later, you start selling the 60MMs!! I'm sure you'll start selling them to all the stock newbies.
As for your Neuspeed bar...are you selling it? If you are, I'd like to buy it from you

To be honest with you. I want one so badly I can't see straight, but, I jast can't give up my stocker for a core. (I promised my wife that I would keep all of the stock parts just in case......)
