A guy I know said that you just more or less put a turbo on a n/a engine. My engine is the 420a, and he said that it would need to be built inside before I could put a turbo on it???

Would you really need to do that, or does he just not know what he is talking about????

420a engines are strong..but if you want to turbo it..it is wise to rebuilt it and make the internals stronger..they aren't meant to handle turbo..if it was meant to handle turbo it would be the 4g63 engine.. so if you want to turbo your car you will probably need to make the engine stronger

ok here it goes...the 420a is proven to handle mild ammounts of boost well. But........your engine could go within a day, week, year, no one can really tell...if you rod the shit out of it turbo or N/A it will not last long..like less than 50k.

hahn racecraft makes turbokits, and star also...they are good kits.
