i have 107k on my car and my engine just seems really rough.I don't think it's my mods because it felt the same way before, i just want it to rev out a little smoother. What can i do? Also would my head gasket leaking a little oil have anything to do with it? I drove a 2000 Eclipse GT today and fell in love with the smoothness and the sound of the engine.I....Want....One.......

LOL...dont fall into the "new car" feel too quickly, i felt the same way but now i realize i MUCH prefere the feel of my car to any other. (and i have 140K+ on my car)

im not to sure what you mean by "roughness", but many of the 2gnters notice a bit of stange idle and acceleration hesitaion after a while (e.i., 100k miles and above), so its probably normal.

change your spark plugs and wires, that tends to make a HUGE difference on the feel of our cars. after that, possibly fuel filter and the head gasket should be changed out.

:shhh: i do cocaine :/shhh:
