My car really idles rough most the time and it really does it when I have the a/c on. When the a/c is while idling it somtimes almost dies then rebounds to normal also when I hit the brakes hard it sometimes does die after I come to a complete stop. It smell like it is running rich. This is what I have tried. I have tested the injector resistant. I have changed fuel filter, had the injector cleaned, new air cleaner, new pcv valve, new spark plugs plus wires and a compress test for giggles which came out fine. Does anyone know what it could be??? Thanks.

You've pretty much covered most of what to look for. My only suggestion would be to check your vacuum hoses around the throttle body and intake manifold. If one of those hoses is damaged or loose, it will affect your the idle.

The others have also tried checking the IAC (the little black thing behind the tb, towards the firewall). If that is good, then it might even be your O2 sensor. Take your car to Autozone to pull a code if you don't have a code scanner.
