I was just wanting to know if it would be worth it to buy the stock piping from a gs-t. From the cat back of course, I already have a performance muffler and I think the gs-t piping is bigger. Is the piping big enough for me to notice some power or should I just go and get some bigger pipe ran for the exhaust shop. I looked in the specs. for the pipe size but couldn't find it so what is the difference betweeen the two. I know the gain will be small unless I go turbo but I want something that I can feel, ever if its little.
How bad will this effect the low end torque.

What do you think about the carbon fiber a/f ratio gauge from Autometer?

The piping is the same exact size. There are 2 differences between the GS-T exhaust and ours. The muffler is dual tip - it can flow more. Also, there's an extra pre-silencer - it's about 6 inches long and it's toward the end of the mid pipe. It will sound a little louder than the stock non-turbo exhaust. I've heard it sounds pretty damn good. It shouldn't effect the low end torque at all.

I just picked mine up yesterday and I need to get some hardware and gaskets to put it in. The one I got has 40K miles on it but its in great shape. I got a spectacular deal on it...$40 pick-up.

I got the full piping local from a guy on ebay for $41, then sold the downpipe to another guy for $50. Viola, I got paid $9 for a GS-T muffler.

$50 gets you a GS-T muffler, good sound and small power increase

$150-200 gets you a pacesetter monza catback

$400-600 gets you a professional catback (Apexi N1)

IMO, stay with the GS-T muffler if you're not going turbo in the next 6 months. It's good enough for a 210hp turbo car, right?
