Hey guys does anyone else know about this Helix Power Tower throttle body spacer. Is it a true mod or another "tornado"? Retails for $89.95.

I think the whole concept behind it is to add more volume to the intake manifold and also create some kind of vortex that helps the fuel combust. They use it on alot of V8's and 6's that have the throttle body on top of the intake manifold.Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

shit wont werk... the spot between the t/b and the intake mani doesnt get crazy hot... not enough to make a big diff...

find one of corbin's phelonic spacers... thats the most efective spot for one (unless sumone can design one that sandwiches at the head...his is sandwiched between the upper and ower intake mani plenums....

there have been a cuple threads on it, way bak, and i think dyno # were gunna be shown, but nuthin happnd...

u r turboed, so i would think more about a 55or jeep 60mm t/b and portin/polishin..

good luck either way...

edit: what stickman is talkin about is definately a power gain when used on carborator cars....
