I thinkmy A/F gauge is failing me OR my new Bosch 02 is going to shit. Anyhow I'm thinking of getting an better A/F gauge but don't know which one to get and the difference..ie the cyberdyne, Corbins, Jumptronix. THanks

I have made several posts about the quality of the bosch o2 sensors being WAY below acceptable
It could very well be your Bosch unit I will only buy o2 sensors from the dealer All mechanics will tell you the same it might be more money but if it lasts years instead of months/days its worth it

I personally haven't seen Corbin's digital a/f gauge, but I bought a digital gauge from www.gadgetseller.com and I like it a lot. It's a little pricey, but it does come in various LED colors, and it's of the highest quality.

i hear that the bosch o2 sensors suck too. i stick with the OEM o2 sensors, they're usually the best. satan will charge you more than other generic o2 sensors, but it's one of those things that i can put up with, like getting gaskets from satan.
btw, i have the autometer lunar a/f gauge, i like it a lot. it looks pimp, and it tells me if my mixture is dangeriousally low. however, if you want to do some "real" tuning, get a digital volt meter. i hear they work a lot better. corbin used to make them, but i think that he "passed the flame on to another 2gnt member". anyways, i'm done now.

Get the Jumptronix or a Corbin clone. Anything else is practically useless for anything other than just looking cool.

If you don't have a TT yet(and if you do it's not in your sig so thats why I'm suggesting this) Get yourself an apexi TT. It comes with AF and O2 voltage settings and a voltmeter. It's a nice quality unit and small enough to fit on your dash. Here is a pic it's on the guage cluster ring there:

I'm going to try to go back to Autozone and return the SOB or something (3 mo warranty) This 02 sensor is really messin with my A/F mixture and not to mention gas mileage. I can't believe it only lasted about a month and it crapped out on me. As for the A/F gauge...I'll probably get Jumptronix one - maybe. I can't really tune it cuz i don't have a S-AFC. Thanks for all the help fella's. It feels like i have a new problem every week, but it's good to know I have the support of a board like this everyday. Thanks

Kirby, have you done any research on how well the APEXi TT works as far as the A/F readings? I can recall reading somewhere, think it might have even been on their site that they don;t recomend using it for any type of tuning because it tends to be a bit on the slow side in the readings.....Not sure how true that is, but I know I ran across it somewhere in my late night web scans......
