I have the 160 deg. thermostat from howell and I need to know where the guage sits once your fully warm. Mine points imbetween those wavy lines that symbolize water. I think it's running hotter than it should with this thermostat installed. I have 2 bottles of watter wetter in the system as well.

Mine runs cooler, most of teh time. But remember the thermostat will open at 160. But the fans probably won't kick on until 185 or 195 whatever it is. So if you don't have airflow over the radiator you might just be circulating hot coolant...

But there is the possibility you got a bad thermostat.

Well I'm done with all this overheating crap I've replaced the radiator cap, the thermostat, the upper radiator hose and even gotten the orange fire hose from HRC. I'm still overheating when the A/C is on. I'm going to get a data logger so I can acctually see the temp of the coolant. What else could it be besides the radiator though? Does anybody have any ideas at all? I can't see anything else it would possibly be the Radiator is the only thing I havn't replaced.
