One of the guys in my car club modified a jeep tb and the upper half of our manifold for it to work on our cars with no problem. In fact we are thinking about selling a modified upper manifold and jeep tb combo so all you would need to do is bolt on the upper manifold and send us back your tb and manifold. If you want to see what we did here is the link: http://www.carolinadsm.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?s=2d2909dfa0ec51aa4d16e1d6c2814f04;act=ST;f=10;t=36;st=0

Thats a great post Toney. Doug actually gets into the part about plugging the manifold hole - which is lacking on any of the other writeups that I've seen. I've got a Jeep TB sitting on my desk and should have an Eclipse TB in a couple of days. The Jeep TB I have is for a 93 and it doesn't have the vacuum output at the base. Hopefully I'll be able to get it working without throwing a CEL.
