I am obviously not too skilled at determining what this problem could be...was wondering if anyone experiences this or would know what could be possible causes:
This is a random problem...doesn't happen daily. I start the car up in the morning (usually on colder mornings) and when the car turns over, the RPMs, instead of cranking to their usual 2000 or so before dipping down to normal, instead gurgle to about 1000. I let the car warm up and while I am letting it warm up, it's fine. It's when I drive off and start engaging gears that my car will stall whenever I depress the clutch (or whenever the car is in neutral). When the car is in gear no problem...and the car drives perfectly normal. Depending on the day I can drive 15 miles to work and by the time I get there the car is fine; on other days I get to work and it still stalls. So the car being "warmed up" seems to have no bearing on the problem. Any ideas what this idle problem could be?

how old is your car and how many miles are on it. When is the last time you replaced your plugs?? There are a bunch of things that you can check like sparkplug wires and spark plugs, if there is any thing wrong with either of them it will cause what you are describing.
