#34065, "Turbo Mods Vs. Reg. Mods, I need help with somethin"

Alrite, not really sure, I got a 99 RS. When I am looking to get mods for the car, and they make the mods for either the RS/GS or the GST/GSX. If I have an RS but I have it turbo charged, then when getting mods would I get the one for the RS/GS, or the GST/GSX since myne is turbo?
thanks guys

Bryan

You would buy stuff for the RS/GS. The RS/GS uses the Chrysler 420A engine (also found in the neon), and the GST/GSX uses the Mistubishi 4g63. These are two COMPLETELY different engines.

No, whatever you may do to the motor as a RS/GS, it will still need RS/GS parts, as the GSX/GST has a totally different motor..

It's my understanding that GS-T catbacks (not GSX) will fit n/t cars...if not, then I got a $500 door stop sitting in my kitchen!

I know that you can use the stock GS-T exhausts on n/t cars so I can't see why aftermarket exhaust for GS-T wouldn't work.
