Anyone have any pics of an eclipse/talon with an aftermarket fuel cell mounted in the trunk? I was just doing some daydreaming and thought that would be cool in place of the spare tire well. I would remove the current fuel tank and run new fuel lines and a new external pump to the fuel cell.

My brothers Charger had a fuel cell in it, whenever you fill your tank up it smells like gas for hours. And the foam inside of his melted somehow, make sure you buy a good one if you do get one.

Hope this helps-

in the spare tire well wouldn't be a good location for safety reasons.. modern cars use the spare tire as an impact absorber in a rear ending. in which case.. if the spare tire was gone and replaced with a gas tank.. the tank would be crushed because the impact would be focused there.
