^^^ what would be better? or is there much of a differance in performance and sound? I'm seriously considering this, but so far nobody i know has a TSi or GS-T. (don't wanna pay shipping either)

I think the flowmaster will be a LITTLE louder, but not much. Plus it would be easier to pick your own tips without having to cut off the factory tips, plus it would be brand new when you buy it. My .02!

I have the flowmaster 40 series delta flow. Loud and Mean. Never heard a Nt with the gs-t muffler, so couldn't really compare it, but a new flowmaster muffler and paying to have it welded cost about $100. And that was with shipping from summit.

i have the flowmaster 60 delta, it's nice and quiet in the interior, especially after putting my turbo in i noticed a change in the volume. my friends say it's the same from the outside, but i've never really heard my car driving around at WOT from the outside. i used to have a plain old flowmaster 40 series (muffler only) and man was that thing loud! wow! i used to get out of my car with headaches after spending time more than 5 minutes on the highway. kinda sucks cause my old 40 series muffler resonated right around 80 mph, which is my usual crusing speed.

the gs-t muffler would be quieter, and probably cheaper since it's OEM. however, bolting up an intermediate pipe-back would be easier than installing just a muffler, and my flowmaster setup came with a nice tip (it's not a fart can!) that was welded on. besides, muffler clamps suck and exhaust systems designed to take advantage of OEM hangers basically kick ass.

or

you can get a turbo and a 3" cat-back (i hear the greddy evolution is amazing) heh. anyways, i'm done. good luck with whatever you chose.

i have the flowmaster w/custom 2.5 cat back and i kept the resonator on and so far i like it, as someone else said cruising over 80 it gets really loud so it keeps you away from speeding tickets
