ok iam planing a rebuild this is what i have on the list so far

howell 2.2 pre buit block 8:6:1 comp.
cm stage 4 clutch
3 angle valve job
arp head studs
440cc injectors
s-afc
s-fum
is thier anything else i should get like a head gasket?if so what kind hsould i get?

Yes, you will need a head gasket. Just get the new one that the dealer sells. Its a MLS (multi layered steel) gasket that is basically bulletproof. I would actually get the entire upper gasket set from the dealer which includes all gaskets from the head up. You might wanna consider getting a new water pump as well... You will at least need a new gasket for the stock one if you don't buy a new one. You may also want to consider changine your timing belt, pulleys and accessory belts while yer at it. These things may not be necessary, but I would at least check em while you have everything torn apart. As far as tools are concerned, you will need a Crank gear puller and a cherry picker idealy (you can rent both of them). I can't think of anything else off the top of my head...

You should get the pulleys from the dealer, but the belts I'm sure you can find a better deal at NAPA.
