Ok guys, you may have seen my post in the pits, but i just need all the input i can get. I REALLY want a gsx. Should i let the fact that it's an automatic be the only factor that keeps me from getting it? I love my 5 speed now, but i could live with an automatic. HELP!

just wait for the MT. It's harder/more work to do an AWD car tranny swap. And you won't waste the money doing it if you wait for the MT.

Tranny work for AWDs is pretty expensive, and a lot more involved than a FWD tranny swap.

Automatic GSX wont get crankwalk, a 5-Speed can...keep that in mind.

Get a 5 speed if you are going to get the GSX. Imagine dumping the clutch at 5k and getting no wheel spin. The trannies on the GSX/Gst are known to be problematic, and also the 2g 4g63 is known to crankwalk fairly often.

gawd you guys make it so confusing for those who don't know emoji :

1g 4g63- 6 bolt main caps- not prone to crankwalk
2g 4g63- more prone to crankwalk than most other motors in the early miles of its life.
