#3286, "Solid Motor Mount"

I am seriously considering getting the Solid Front Motor Mount from Howell... a couple of questions..

i understand people who have it experience "vibrations"... i can live with that if it happens ONLY in high RPM...

can those who have it give me an idea when the vibrations happen? it is negligible compared to the performance gain?

my car is a daily driver... i dont race. i just want to squeeze every last bit of torque from this automatic.

so please, those who have the solid mounts.. please enlighten me.

Thanks.

-Marc

Here we go again!!! The solid front motor mount is a GREAT mod. It stops wheel hop and makes the car feel cool. I love the feeling that my car has. It doesnt vibrate tooo much. It is just perfect. I stopped noticing it after about a week. Get it and TRUST ME YOU WILL LIKE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its about 3bolts, its really easy to put in.... you dont really even have to jack the car up to be honest. Find the stock one, just reverse the process. Maybe take 10minutes if that.

Yeah its great and only vibrates at high rpms but if you dont race or launch hard there is no need to get it. Other than botling of the line there's no other benefits.
