Please help... I just bought a 1991 talon 2.0 for my winter beater and after driving it for awhile it started to have an erratic idle from 1000rpms to 1500rpms when I am at idle. Does anyone know what the problem could be??

First generation......wow. Could be a lot of different things. I wouldnt worry about it too much if its just going to be your beater. Shouldn't cause any harm I would imagine. Yet if it bothers you, first thing I would check is your vac lines... Maybe even get them replaced. There possibly may be a small, small leak sucking extra air into the engine. But for real, its a 91 and just a winter beater. I wouldnt invest time and money into it if I was you, since i believe the idle wont cause a problem. Hopefully. Happy Hunting.
