#32515, "Really Need Help!! Throttle Position Sensor Alternatives..."
Hey Guys,
My throttle position sensor just went and I need to get a new (or used) one asap. I'm going on vacation tomorrow night and my car is all whacked out. It is a dealer only part and no one around here (Central NJ) has one in stock.
What are my other options do I have? I have a 97 Eclipse RS. Can I use the throttle body and sensors off a 95 avenger? Do the neons have the same sensor? Should I try the Chrysler dealers? Any Suggestions would be hugely appreciated.

Try the Chrystler first. I stopped using my Mits. dealer b/c they are worthless. The TPS I needed 2 years ago, was on national B/O w/ Mits, but Chrystler dealer down the street had thousands available and was able to get me one later the same day. Try there.

Youve got to be kidding about that dealer part thing. a week ago I replaced mine in my 96 and every place had that sensor around here (ohio). If you have an Autozone in your area go there. its like a 50 dollar part.

Hey I had to do the same thing with my TPS sensor, and agree Autozone is probably the better of the places in Central Jersey to go to. Im not sure exactly where you are but there was one in Perth Amboy off New Brunswick Ave that i normally go to... cost me like 50 bucks
