Do you know what the starter is? No, it can't be relocated, its small, compact, and snug against the block, not to mention there is a special spot on the bellhousing for it, why would you want to relocated it? If you are needing to relocate the starter, you need to rethink a few design ideas.

But everything is shaped for where the starter is, right down to the bellhousing and the engine sheetmetal plate that goes between the transmission and the motor! Honestly, it would be better to put a Neon head on the motor, run the turbo behind the motor, and plumb it to the cat somehow. I would do some re-engineering if I were you. -=B-=
Dude, Boeing called. They want their wing back.

Good luck with that one. that would require one hell of a bellhousing fabricator and who knows what else. You certainly wouldn't attempt it using the factory starter, maybe some universal compact aftermarket race starter. Thats right up there in the realm of when the pit crew member runs up with his starter device to fire up the racecar before a race.
