how do i get rid of it? disconnecting the battery would be pointless, seing how it will just come back on later? pulling the fuse would do the same thing. ??? been there for over a week..??

It doesn't make the CEL come on, it's an "FYI" code. Ignore it. You can't make it go away.

i live in elkin, the problem is the egr sys. was leaking. for all those who want to find out if that is your problem, this is all you have to do....... open hood, engine running, smell the air, if it smells like eggs when you pull the throttle cable, thats it,,,,,, at least it was for me... whewwww.
