i know the neon has 150hp and our have 140hp. i was told it was because of the cams is it true,if so would it be worth it to put the cams of a neon in my car. thanks
the cams may be different.. but I would think it would be more from their superious intake and exhaust designs, by having the exhaust in the back of the block you get a much straighter exhaust path by not having to bend around the engine and then go back.. they just go back.. but that's just my theory.
Yeah, you don't want those anyway. They're still stock(for the neon). You should get some performance cams if you really want to upgrade. Crane and Crower make some good ones.

if you ask me, it's because the Neon DOHC runs 9.8:1 compression to our 9.6:1, with a little "exageration"
