replaced my fuel filter and now @ 5000 rpms it goes lean and shut almost completely down. any ideas?

not to sound like an ass... but make sure it's not on backwards... that's just the kind of stuff I'd do

it'll flow backwards.....but it wont fit backwards......I would say you might have gotten a little rock or something in the filter when u reinstalled in which is clogging your line.....

fuel flows fine till 5000 rpm so why would it all of the sudden just dropp fuel. my car idles better, accelerates smoother, it just cuts off at 5000.

do you have a kink in your fuel lines???? i would check for that...

r u turboed?? check your map sensor voltage.. should be about 4.7, nothing more tho...

I haven't checked for kinks but the top line for fuel filter looks like it might be kinda canted to the right. Not turbo yet hopefully by early 2003. NX charged 112
