#31900, "gonna buy an already bored TB..."

he says it's bored to 58mm, he's on a pretty trust worthy board too..xtremedsm.com, I went to one of their meets and they are all friendly...back to the TB...it was bored to 58 by a company called RC Eng. and he's selling it for $180-$200, any other questions I should ask him about it...or should I buy a used stock TB and send it myself to be bored???

hmmmm.....$180 would be a good deal. Seems like the going rate for a stock TB is $50 bucks on F/S sections. By the way, I will have one for sale very soon ( if Fusion doesn't email me soon). I got mine bored to 57MM at ARD for $140. So do the math...after all the shipping and everything.....I spent about $210 on mine before selling my stock one.

And then, you get to sell your stock one. So $130 for a bored TB is cheep.

Of course, you should inspect the bored TB to make sure the butterfly closes all the way and that the spring is functioning and all. Not sure about the quality of other shops boring/porting stuff.
