#31893, "Cone filter on the end of the plastic stock intake"

Just wondering if anyone has done this and what all you took out?

I put a cone on the end of it and was wondering if i should take out the MAS or just leave it there, or if there was a different way to put it on?

Kinda Unsure if it will cause any harm or rough idle..

please dont take this the wrong way, but just to let you know, you should use the search feature or check the "things we've seen before" as this has been covered before.

to answer your question, there is nothing wrong with replacing the air box with a cone filter. i think there may even be a write up somewhere on the site. i had that set up for a while till i got an iceman intake. the only thing i remember taking out is the stock airbox.

I did a search, but to no avail so I figured I'd just ask it..

Yeah, I've got it..and there are a billion threads on it...just get a piece of PVC that is the correct diameter to go into the end of your factory pipe so that you can strap it down...then put your filter on the other end of the pvc....then find a way to hold it down emoji
