I was looking at those venom chip things that you supposedly plug in and have up to "25% more power". Are these things crap? Does anybody have one on their car and if so did they actually work. The only thing i could think that it would do is change the timing and then i'd have to put higher octane gas in it. Thanks for your input.

All it does is make your car run like sh*t when it is on. It adds absolutely no power and is the most worthless thing I have ever bought. I bought mine last summer when they were fairly new so no one could give me a clear answer on whether or not it worked. Well it doesn't work and I could have had a new Greddy header for what I paid for it.
