Right now i have stock piping and an OBX rear section. My question is about bumping up the size of after cat piping. How big should i go? i don't mind losing a little low end, and i want my car to get louder as the revs go up, because right know it is only loud at about 2800-4000 rpm's. Should i put a cherry bomb resonater in place of my stock one? TIA

2.5" off the DP to a race muffler and you're set. Your car will be very loud and your low end should improve, if anything.

I was curious about this very same thing. What is the stock piping diameter. Is it 2.25? I was thinking of taking my car to an exhaust specialist this weekend to put a custom mandrel-bent pipe on my car to go with my Tenzo-R muffler I already have. Am I right in thinking we have stock 2.25, and I'm suppose to ask him for 2.5? And also, will going to that .25 wider diameter make much of a difference? Thanks in advance.

Current Mods:

- Weapon-R Breather Filter (Red)
- Tenzo-R Muffler
- Extreme Motorsports Strut

- Momo "King"-style Aluminum Shifter Knob

Stock pipe diameter is 2". I think 2.5" is a good diameter for modding NA.
