#30912, "Head Gasket Leak!! Anyone have this happen, Aftermath??"

Hey I have a 98 eclipse just got back from a shop and had an engine leak they fixed he then told me I have a Head gasket leak and it would be a $650 job. 2 days job. I am just wondering if anyone who still has theres who this happened to can let me know what the long term is like? I dont wanna have to go in in 4 months fixing something else that went wrong due to this. So I was told just fix and sell but I cant just sell it like that ya know! Anything would be awsome.
Thanks
Jeff

well do a compresion test..and if it is headgasket you better replace it with the MLS headgasket cause if you dont many things can happen the worst i think is getting coolant in the pistons or the oil andwhen that happens boom your car will most likely hidrolock and this means your pistons are going to go bye bye as well as anything using oill...check it and take care of it before u have this happen to you ...why dont you do it yourlself i did it and it only cost me about 100 for new bolts and headgasket at the dealer of course i did everything else like the timing and clutch wich raise the total to about 1000+ bucks..so do it yourself and save your self the labor..
