i posted this in the general section but nobody responded and i really need to know if it is even safe to drive it to the mechanic
"so i was driving home tonight and as i was taking a sharp left turn in my neighborhood i heard a metal clink from my engine as though something came from it, i turn around, threw my high beams on and wouldnt you know it, a thick bolt about 3 inches long that comes to a point and with thread about and inch along the bolt, with a 9/16" or 14mm hexagonal head with the number 7 written on it was laying there. I recently got my motor rebuilt and im assuming this is the handy craftmanship of careless mechanic. I was wondering if anyone knows what component it belongs to and where it is located ( i assume its on the righthand side somewhere since it flew out as i was taking a left turn). TOmorrow i will give the mechanics some sh** for being so careless. TIA!"

i would say either tranny, mounts, or crossmember.
