anyone knows something about this engine cause i know a mexican who has a junk yard in juarez and he brings parts all the time

there are 2.4L's up here.. what's special about the mexican one is that it IS a stock turbo motor, with better internals I beleive. And I don't think it's a bolt on (the whole motor and turbo system that is) since it flows the same waay as the neons, intake in front, exhaust in back. opposite the eclipe's of course.

Can't we just swap the bottom end, and not the turbo system and head?

It runs .9 bar, thats about 12~13 psi stock.

By the way, I heard they came in Auto trannies only..

I am interested, how much does he want for the mexican 420A?

I would just keep the bottom end anyways
I don't need the top w/ the turbo, as I already have one :-D ..
