#30440, "The CEL's keep on coming I think it may be the ECU (long)"

Well I got another CEL light yesterday, it was a 24 TPS. The car ran bad so I put it up for the night and started to work on it this morning. I checked the TPS wires and reset the computer. Then I took it for a test drive, I only made it a few miles and the car died, but I was able to get it into a parking lot. I rechecked the codes and my MAP sensor code is back on. Now he car wont start at all. I reset the ECU again to try to make it back to my place but it still wont run. There have been a few other things bad too. My monster tach stoped working an would flicker on and off. When I turn on my radio I hear an electrical humm. I am starting to think that it may be my ECU, or possibly my conection with the plugs to the ECU. Does anone have any clue? This is really agrivating I need some big help.

do you got a super afc? when u turn the key on but dont start it up, what voltage are you getting on the 'check sensors' screen? should be 4.5v, if not then the map is not doing it's job.. also did you check the reistence with tps when u checked it out ? if not do that also.. make sure all the wires to the ecu are not cut or burned etc.. and make sure its plugged in all the way...

No I do not have a S-AFC. I have not checked the tps voltage yet I need to get hold of a multimeter. I going to unplug my connectors today, what should I look for? What would be out of the ordinary? The only thing I can think of is when they removed my eng. they pulled on the plugs w/o unpluging them. And they must have f'ed them up.
Thanks for the feedback,
Patrick
