Hey guys,
Yeah me and my car are geting mad at each other. I want her to have a deeper sounding exhaust and free up a bit more HP, But she just don't want any new parts. I get her a new fliter and that breaks off"dont ask how??", I get a carbon fiber gauge bezel and the speedo stops working. So lets see thats 50 bucks for the new fliter 20 for the bezel, 100 for haveing it fixed and the head ake was free. So I have NO money to spend on her "$400" I want to get a pacesetter header and cat-back system just to boost my fellings. How is the pacesetter's? I have heard in the Archives that they can be good and can't be good, So whats the deal? thanks for your time.

if you install things right, your car/you will be very happy.

I say go ahead and get better headers (hotshots or Greddy) also I am sure you will be fine with either GS-T muffler or any after market high flow muffler, don't pay $500 for a cat back, just get the muffler and have your muffler shop weld it to your cat back piping.

so is that teh best way to go...even if like next summer i am going turbo? i want the greddy evo so should i get eth whole catback now adn not headers or headers and just teh muffler ? can you even get just teh evo muffler?

Well, I am planning on going turbo, so no headers for me. I'll save that $$$ for the turbo kit. As far as my exhaust. I have just the magnaflow universal muffler. Sounds pretty nice. Don't take the resonator off though unless u have a CAI and like it to be really loud and buzzy at higher RPM's. Other than that, it sounds really nice. It hit me for $130 installed. After u get turbo, just get a cat-back.(or right b4) I think someone on here put on a GS-T cat-back on a NT car and actually gained.

Yeah well Im not going turbo on this car because I have a Tsi. I realy just want some more show because that stock heat sheld looks like Barbra Walters in a 2 pice.

I have the Pacesetter cat-back and it sounds pretty damn good. Has a nice low rumble to it. Then again just about any exhaust with our cars from what I have heard and been told sounds pretty good. The Pacesetter sits nice and discreet in the rear which is also what I wanted. I like the looks of nice nice sized tip, but some of them are way to big. You get a perfect lok with it I think. If I was home I'd get apic of mine for you. As far as fit and quality I thnk it's as good as most, the welds were clean and it bolted right up. It's all in personal preference though....
