Well I just got my GST muffler in the mail , took long enough. But it looks as though the muffler has been cut off and ther is only about a half inch of piping on the back. So I guess I'm going to have to get it welded on right? And cut the old one off to have something to weld it to? My dad is a professional welder so I don't think there should be to much trouble. I just want to know exactly what I need to do. tia.

That's cool, I try to take it somewhere tomarrow. My dad said he could probably do it, but would have to take it to work to do it, which would mean a day with out the car, plus I don't think I have any jackstands so removal and installation would be a bit of a pain. thanks.

I'm just curious as to where you got that muffler from. We bought one off ebay a while back that was like that, even though the guy said it was "like new".

Well I got the muffler installed, haven't really driven it around much yet, but I could tell the difference in sound. Ended up taking it to a shop to do, should have found a different place to do it though, cost $45, oh well.
So where am I going to see the performance difference? In the top end, right?
