I found a cat replacement straight pipe for my car. If I put this on will I loose backpressure that will make my car loose power? I'm not going to put it on if it has any negitive effect.

You are gonna loose a shit load of low end. You will, however, gain some top end. Not to mention your exhaust will be a bit louder or raspier. For me, I could definetly feel a lost in low end but more than makes up for that for the quick turbo spool up. Oh yeah, it's gonna stink too.

Has anyone used one of these before? It looks like it might be a little more restrictive than a straight pipe and it might deaded a little sound as well. As for the HP ratings they give I don't know about, but I have done quite a bit of business with this company when I was fixing up my truck.
