#29471, "Where's the idle speed control sensor???"

I've heard people with low idling problems have a malfunctioning idle sensor. Mine always idles 1 notch above 500, so I guess 600. There are times when it would dip below 600 RPM, like it's gonna die or something. Just today, I almost stalled twice, so I may think that's it. Any other suggestions, thanks!!!!

We have an IAC motor. It controls how much air bypasses the TB plate to keep the engine idling. If it fills up with carbon shit, you will have a low idle.

You check its resistance with a multimeter. You remove it with a Torx driver. You can clean it with a toothbrush and TB cleaner (don't get cleaner in the electrical parts).

Yeah, thanks a bunch Corbin. I've been idling at 600 RPM, except when I turn the AC on, for a while now. I'm taking this is one of the causes of me almost stalling. I've changed the plugs and plug wires about 4,000 miles ago and changed the fuel filter during the turbo install, which is probably about 6,000 miles ago.
