I read somewhere that rear motormounts won't fit on a car with AT. Is this true?

Also, will I notice a difference with just the front mount on an AT? Thanks.

the a/t mount is bigger cuz the tranny weighs about 3-400lbs more..
u can still use the energy suspension inserts, but for the rear, u will have to shave it down a bit... im sure an a/t mounted 2gntr will hook u up w/specifics..

it has ben brought up b4 cuz a a/t 2gntr was havin probs (search if u wanna hear about it) and all he did was shave the rear insert down a lil, and it werkd fine.

Shaved... a little? I had to hack the living hell out of the rear mount to get it to work with the A/T rear mount. After all of the material that I removed, I am not sure that the insert made the mount any stiffer then it was originally. I wish the auto tranny was 300-400 lbs lighter, that would make my car 2500-2600 lbs. The difference is maybe 150 lbs, which is a difference that can be felt, definately.
