A few days ago I posted that I had had problems and I though it was related to the clutch or tranny. Well I took it to the shop that installed the new clutch with the turbo kit. After only a month and 1000 miles I have already had some serious issues but this is the top. Today I was told that the tranny was shot cause of the diff. was loose and they feel it's shot now. Try to attibute to hard driving.I know what the car was built for and I did no hard driving above that. So with all that I feel suspicious of foul play. The question is how do I prove it? I really need everyones help here. If you have a HRC stage 2 or better and have had no or any problems with tranny related or can help in anyway please do so cause I am lost. Please help...

Sorry if I can't explain fully what I was told but he said that a rattling noise I had heard and the grinding of 1st @ 2nd gear was cause of a broken differential. I also heard a very loud screech when standing I would turn the steering wheel left and right. Do you think that it could be fixed or do I automaticly have to start looking for a new tranny?

First find out exactly what went on, have him show you the tranny on the bench, and take pics if you can. Turning your wheel and screeching isnt the tranny... so dont worry bout that for now.. gotta get the car moving first, hehe. diff was loose? were the ring gear bolts loose or the diff pin was loose? you really need to find out what is going on first.

I will follow the suggestions, but regardless of what is wrong cause I know somethings is definately wrong, money will be no obsticle. Was this just a rare case of a few gear slips that cause whatever damage? What options do I have to rebuilt a tranny? Are there kits out there that will make it strong? Are there full street/race tranny's for 420A? My goal will in the end be 350whp. All I know is I need a certified mechanic to confirm my theory of improper clutch install. Who knows if any other shop would want to testify that it was done wrong. Maybe I should just cut my losses and go get it done right. Please help!
