I just bought a 96 talon esi and i am new to the performance cars. I was wondering what the best thing to do to my car is.

Speed kills!!! My car ain't fast enough.

in somewhat this order....things to do first:
a good tuneup
clean throttle plate & adjust throttle cable tension
better spark plugs/wires
cold air intake or at least a high flow filter
higher flow exaust

If you have an extra $4K laying around you can get a compression test, upgaded pistons etc...and go for a stage II or III turbo...it's up to you.

pay attention to this site....read alot....check the newbies section...and start saving your money....you can decide to go for performance...or good looks...or both......there are endless ways for you to get yourself into some serious debt around here
