#28856, "My car is loosing oil!!!"

I checked the car and didn't have any oil.
I guess it is burning for the engine because I have been watching some white smoke behind of my car. what you guy think.
Looks like I have to change all gaskets of the engine right?
Let me know if you guy got a experience like that.
and other question how expensive can be the gaskets and the work for change all that.

I will apreciate any answer
thanks
tito

White smoke is coolant, blue smoke is oil. Chances are that you are loosing some oil through the filter's gasket, like me.

I am sure that mi car is not loosing anti freeze
And maybe I am blind and can not see very well the color, so I have the check again the color.
The other things is that the oil ligth on the board is not on.
I mean it turn on when you pass the swicht but If I don't have any oil why it don't turn on?????

Other thing is that were I park the car i don't see any leak of oil

well , I guess that better this week I make the compresion test.

your oil lite should come on. mine starts to come on whenever I brake hard once I get under a quart low. saves my azz pretty good too. but Id def check it out, and ALWAYS have a spare quart in the trunk.
