Well, I changed the crankshaft/rear main seal today. Also changed the throwout bearing, rear shocks and went ahead and slid that big heavy Clutchmasters Stage 4 bad boy into the transmission. Now I'm waiting till later this week so I can get some helping hands putting it back in the car. I'm not sure if any of you have changed a rear main on the 420a, or the clutch, or basically any job that would allow you to see the crank where it bolts onto the flex plate. I discovered another tid bit of info to further prove how strong the bottom end of the 420a is. We have 8 crankshaft bolts. 8! The 4G63 only has 6. Eight really isnt uncommon in say...a small block 350. Very stout for a lil' ole' 4 banger.
