basically everyone is pissed because it doesnt fit on most of the cars and it reads the same resistance values as the stock coil does, so unless something else comes up, its just a stock coil in red plastic

i got mine 3 days ago and it installed perfectly well! i have a 96' i don't know if it makes a difference, but i truely felt a difference off that bat. i accelerate better than with the old one, and my revving is a little quicker.it's idling way better. my vaccuum is reading 18-19hg which is real smooth. i'm also getting better a/f readings than i used to. it's a good buy!

Or could it be just that your coil was already on the car for 5 years + and this one is brand new ?

I put mine on last week, had to go to the junkyard to get an older harness. Idles nice and smooth, smooth acceleration, but nothing notable. Probably seems a little better cause the other coil was 5 yrs old.

I wonder if there is anyway to actually check the discharge capacity of the coil pack. Compare the output to the spark plug wire connection with the factory coil. I would think it should be higer. MSD has never disappointed me......never know though.

I am going to check my plugs shortly and see if the burn is any better. The coil pack is the only thing I have changed on my car lately and I am running rich in #1/4 and only slightly rich in #2/3. I think this is due to the star exhaust manifold needing a good port job in the outer runners.
