the machine shop that I am getting my engine built wants me to get athe total seal rings that have the top ring that are gapless. The person building it has alot of experience building engines. I was just wondering if anyone had any info on these rings since they came out not long ago. also. do I need to bump up the stock fuel pressure with 10.5 pistons, nitrous grind cams and a ported and polished head??

The rings have been out forever even for our car. I bought them over three years ago and had them in my engine for about the same about of time and 50K miles. I really cant tell you anything about them except they've survived everything I've thrown at them so far (as they should). You dont need any fuel adjustment for 10.5 compression but you probably do want some fuel tuning with cams and a port and polish. An AFC is better than the fuel pressure regulator (or better yet get both). Since the regulator is an across the board jump it you may not be able to fine tune the entire rpm range like with the AFC.
:farfrommugen: Yes I still own a 2gnt. Damn right I've been here longer than U klassic_liven@yahoo.com

yeah for the fuel I have a venom fuel rail with an AEM regulator and an AFC and a digital air/fuel guage so I should be set then. I ordered the rings today so my engine should be done soon.

On my totalseals (for the 8.8 JE .020 oversize pistons) it was the *middle* ring (not the top) that was the gapless one. The top ring was just a big thick badass fire ring mMmMmmMmmMmmmmmm.
