I couldnt live without A/C. You might gain a couple ponies from it but not worth it if your car is a daily driver. Only way I would do it is if I lived in northern canada or alaska.

take off your ps/ac belt you'll feel a huge difference..driving without ps sucks for about a week..then you get used to it.... haha... wheni put my belt bak on after like a month i thought i was gonna flip my car cuz my wheels were so easy to turn..... if it wasnt in the 90's here everyday that belt would still be off.... but...if you want power steering i think you could just buy a shorter belt .... (when you go to buy a belt they ask if you have ac...just say no) ...
