Hey whats up everybody...I have got a problem that I definatly need some help with..Let me tell you the story...My car started losing horsepower a little while ago..I took it to the dealer and said for them to tell me what was wrong with the car...There conclusion is that I need new piston rings.. They told me that in three chambers I had less than 90lbs of compression and in one I had 180lbs..Let me first say, I can hook up the outside of the car no problem,,,but when it comes to motors...Im still learning. Anyway I believed what they said and told them I would be back on monday for the repairs.. When I got home something was pulling at me to check the compression. I pulled out the #1 spark plug wire and the thing is drenched in oil along with my plug and the chamber has about an inch of oil in it. I was stunned. I called them back, they said that happens when your piston rings are shot. I checked my compression...190/195/200/270.. What the hell happened to the 90lbs. Also I took the valve cover off and found out that the f*ckin dealership didn't put the spark plug gasket back in the right place, it was laying on the cam gears themselves..My question is after all that...Do you think I'm getting screwed here or what, another mechanic seems to think that they are building me up to tell me I need a new engine...Can I get everyones opinion...

Tell your local satan that the mind games won't work on this soul! That is a bunch of BS. You can plainly see where they messed up here. So first off wait a while and re check your compression because if oil got down there it may make your comp #'s rise from what I understand. Once you check it again and get real #'s go back to the dealer and call them on it. Say these are my numbers and these are yours what's going on here? then tell them to re diagnose your car for free and find out what is really wrong with it. I think it's clear they are trying to sucker you. The next thing they will say is your johnson rods are all messed up so it'll be an extra $900. bastards let them know you know your shit.
