I am trying to change my dash lights- and was wondering what MCD rating LED I should use. Thanks.


2003 VW GTI 1.8t.. I used to have a 95 Eclipse but well...water sucks.

what ever the highest you can find is, try like 3000 or so, but depending on what color you pick you might not find ones that brite, but what ever is the highest you can find

High as possible. if you can find 5000MCD LEDs, use them. Just be suire to use the right resistors of they'll burn out with a quickness.

what he ^ said.. also the brightest blue leds ive found were rated at 2600mcd, but i didnt look around everywhere, so i suppose its possible for them to be brighter. reds can be found easily at high mcd ratings of 3000+
